Defence Purpose Toolkit

Defence Purpose has been developed by Defence’s senior leaders to describe what Defence does in a single, unifying and inspiring narrative for the Whole Force.
The toolkit provides information and tips on how to brief groups or teams and includes key messages and a suggested structure.
The aim is for all staff to be reached with the opportunity for a face-to-face discussion, helping them understand Defence’s objectives and how their work contributes to those objectives.
